MLP Group, industrial developer operating across the European warehouse property market (in Poland, Germany, Austria and Romania) has just purchased a 12-ha land plot at Spiżowa Street in Gorzów Wielkopolski. Located in the western part of the city, 900 m from the S3 road junction and 9 km away from the city centre, it will accommodate MLP Gorzów Wielkopolski, a modern logistics and distribution centre.

On the 12-ha site MLP Group is planning to erect class A warehouse facilities with a total leasable area of about 52 thousand sqm. The logistics and warehousing complex has been designed to meet the BREEAM certification requirements, which will substantially reduce tenant service costs. In line with the Company’s strategy, MLP Gorzów Wielkopolski will feature a range of sustainable solutions. It will be focused primarily on tenants operating in the e-commerce, logistics, distribution and light industrial manufacturing sectors. It will be the developer’s first project in the Province of Zielona Góra.

The construction works are scheduled to start between the first and second quarters of 2022.

"According to our strategic vision, we are strengthening our foothold near Poland’s western border, which has recently attracted much interest from investors. The commercial site we have just purchased is well connected with convenient links to the S3 road and served by bus transport in the immediate vicinity. The first modules are expected to be delivered to tenants of MLP Gorzów Wielkopolski in the third quarter of 2022", said Karol Kondrat, Business Development Manager at MLP Group S.A.

The excellent location of Gorzów Wielkopolski will certainly be seen as a major advantage by future investors, both from Poland and abroad, given its proximity to the German border (53 km) and Germany’s capital city Berlin (about 135 km). Warsaw is 463 km away and the major nearby cities are: Poznań (165 km), Szczecin (111 km) and Zielona Góra (113 km).

All new projects of MLP Group are obligatorily covered by BREEAM certification, with glazing used in office spaces for enhanced daylighting and improved working comfort. In addition, the group uses the Interact Industry system as an innovative platform for improved lighting management and monitoring, which helps reduce electricity consumption, improve warehouse safety, optimise space utilisation and bring down operating costs.
