Masterbuild, the Romanian developer and construction firm, says it has started works for the research centre TGA Technologies for Green Aviation in Craiova with a total investment of more than €17 million.
TGA Center is developed near the International Craiova Airport and will have a total built area of close to 8,000 sqm. It will include office spaces, laboratories and technology halls.
“The construction project is based on sustainable principles and technologies, ensuring both the energy efficiency of buildings, the health and safety of occupants, costs optimization, at the same time minimizing the impact on the environment or optimizing the potential of the location,” said Mirela Harmanescu, COO, Head of Engineering & Technical Department at Masterbuild.
The centre is co-financed through the European Regional Development Fund, coordinated by I.N.C.A.S. – The National Institute for Aerospace Research Elie Carafoli. The construction works will be finished next year.
The construction tender was won by Masterbuild in association with Hit & Cold, an installations specialist - and Oopy Architecture.
