The expansion of Galeria EMKA in Koszalin has started - it will be a new retail park, which will be connected to the existing facility. The new phase will have 9 tenants with an area of approx. 10,000 sqm. The LCP has just signed a contract for the general contracting of the EMKA Retail Park project and the main contractor will be MIRBUD S.A. The planned commencement of works will start in the upcoming week. Currently, the area is being prepared for the first stage of works, which will be the adaptation of the existing infrastructure, and then earthworks will begin, which will take another 2 months.

“We would like to thank you that LCP has noticed our experience in the construction of large-scale commercial facilities. Immediately after signing the contract, we begin this task so that the residents of Koszalin have the facility at their disposal on time", says Paweł Bruger, Corporate Communication Director at MIRBUD S.A.

“The period of the last few weeks has been very intense and allowed us to choose an experienced contractor for the EMKA Retail Park project. This will allow us to put the project into operation at the end of 2022“, adds Jarosław Kotyna, Development Director from LCP.

Currently, 70% of the center's area is leased, and further contracts are under negotiation. According to earlier information, new tenants of Retail Park will supplement the offer of the neighboring Galeria EMKA with entertainment and leisure functions. Over 2,000 sqm will occupy a fitness club Just Gym, and another 2,200 sqm. Helios Cinema, with several projection rooms, including two premium class. The Retail Park will house the largest store in the region of the Sinsay brand, which will occupy an area of over 1,200 sqm in the new phase.

After the expansion, the EMKA Shopping Complex, including the Gallery and Retail Park, will have over 70 stores to offer.

“We believe that this extremely modern project will be an important point on the city's map, and that the offer of new tenants will complement the one currently available at Galeria EMKA. The entire complex will be a friendly zone for everyday and convenient shopping as well as a wide offer of new entertainment points and services will allow customers to meet their shopping and lifestyle needs in one place", says Justyna Małysko, Leasing Manager LCP
