LCP Group has received a building permit for another retail park in Rawa Mazowiecka. This is the second project of this type of there owned by the company.

The first M Park project, located at 3a Konstytucji 3 Maja Avenue in Rawa was opened in 2020. At the time, it offered 2,500 sqm of GLA to its customers. The main tenants of the facility from the beginning are chain brands such as CCC, KiK, Martes Sport and Dealz. The retail park provides parking for 45 cars for the clients.

LCP has decided to develop another M Park II project in Rawa Mazowiecka. The project is located 5 minutes away from the first development, which was opened 2 years earlier. With the addition of more well-known brands, M Park will provide shoppers with the opportunity to shop at new stores that will complement the existing offer with services from the home appliances, sports, non-food discount and DIY sectors. The new retail park will provide nearly 4,000 sqm of retail space, where 5 new tenants will offer their products. Among the main brands, there are Media Expert, Tedi, Pepco, KS Sport and grocery store operator Lidl. M Park will provide more than 100 parking spaces for its customers, with direct access to the Lidl store and the other tenants' areas.

"Another project like M Park, which we are opening in Rawa Mazowiecka, perfectly illustrates the market demand in Poland for modern retail space in medium-sized cities. Well-known chain brands with their own requirements for space quality are still eager to open stores in such facilities, often operating together with local businesses. Such projects allow them to fine-tune their offerings to optimally meet the expectations of the local residents. Not without significance is the tenants' support for e-commerce activities, which allows online customers to finalize transactions in the shopping complex", says Justyna Malysko, Senior Leasing Manager at LCP Properties.

Green finance becomes the new rule for Romanian real estate

by Property Forum
Sustainability criteria are playing an increasing role when banks finance real estate projects in Romania, while buildings that meet green finance standards can obtain better terms. These are the findings of a study carried out by Colliers on the local market, based on responses from four commercial banks, which together hold more than half of the Romanian banking system's assets, and two multilateral development banks active in the real estate sector. The clearest rule identified for new buildings is the NZEB-10% standard, applied by all institutions analysed. All six require the primary energy demand of a new building to be at least 10% below the national NZEB threshold, and a project that does not meet this standard may still be financed, but the loan will generally not be classified as green finance.
