Resco, one of the global leaders in mobile business solutions, has leased more than 2,400 square meters at Nivy Tower, the newest office building by the Slovak developer HB Reavis. With this lease, the company ranks among the first tenants of the highest high-tech building in Slovakia and in April 2020 will move its Slovak headquarters together with all 100 employees to the new modern and functional premises.

Resco was established in 1999 and during its twenty-year history, the company built itself into one of the global leaders in developing cross-platform mobile software solutions. Originally, three founders focused on games and consumer apps. With the rise of smartphones and the growing importance of mobility for modern business, in 2009 Resco launched its Resco Mobile CRM – a cross-platform mobile client, originally for Microsoft Dynamics CRM – which is currently used by more than 2,500 corporate customers and 500 partners around the world.

„As our market grows, we must grow with it. In twenty years, the number of our employees increased several times and our plan is to keep growing. For this reason, we were looking for suitable premises, which will provide us not only with enough space and comfort but also with the comfort of a modern office development with a full range of amenities and benefits,“ says Eduard Kirchner, one of the Managing Directors in Resco.

The 125-meter Nivy Tower is located in the Bratislava’s new city business district, at the corner of Svätoplukova Street and the Mlynske Nivy. On 29 floors will bring approximately 31,000 square metres of premium A-class office premises with the highest quality certification not only in terms of its environmental impact – BREEAM, but also in regards to the well-being of the people using the offices – WELL. In addition to traditional leasing contracts, the building offers flexible solutions for mid-size companies or project teams (Qubes) as well as a „full package“ solution within its coworking space (HubHub).

„Nivy Tower will welcome its first tenants at the beginning of the next year. Resco will complete an already vivid business ecosystem in the Nové Nivy zone. Thanks to our Workspace as a Service concept, which brings value-added services and a wide range of leasing opportunities, we are able to create unique business communities by connecting large and small companies, startups and freelancers,“ adds Andrea Forentíková, SK & CZ Leasing Director at HB Reavis.

JLL’s Office Agency team, that facilitated the transaction, represented Resco from the initial market research up to new lease contract negotiations. „New modern, technologically advanced and certified buildings have already established their position in our country. Only during the last two years, it has been confirmed by the completion of more than 200,000 sqm of new office space and another 200,000 sqm with planned completion in 24 months. This also translates to the market sentiment where we can see a slow shift from the landlord's advantage to tenant's advantage as they are now selecting from a wide range of possibilities. Based on this new delivery on the market in a comparable standard to the „western“ modern office buildings, several international companies situate their headquarters in Slovakia, local successful companies with a global presence like Resco including,“ Lukáš Králik, Office Agency JLL.
