JLL announced that Ben Rose has been appointed Head of Capital Markets for the Czech Republic. Ben takes over the role from Mike Atwell, who – after four years of heading up the Czech Republic and CEE capital markets team – returned to London to take up a senior position in the EMEA Industrial & Logistics investment team.

Ben will be relocating from the International Capital Markets team in London, where he has built significant investment expertise and knowledge advising clients across the industrial & logistics sector and more recently having worked across Asia Pacific, providing him with a unique perspective on cross border transactions. He will work closely with existing capital markets teams in the region to offer a coordinated and trusted approach for clients looking to access investment opportunities in the Czech Republic.

Tom Devonshire-Griffin, Head of Capital Markets in Central & Eastern Europe, JLL, commented: “The multiple real estate sectors we now operate in are continuing to see record levels of demand and we continue to be very optimistic about the outlook for the CEE region. Ben’s deep client relationships, track record of deal execution and extensive international experience will be key as we strengthen our capital markets offering in the Czech Republic, as well as the wider region, as part of our continued investment into CEE. I am confident that Ben will lead the team’s ongoing growth by becoming a trusted advisor to our local clients whilst maintaining his excellent relationships with our wider investment base.”

Andrew Peirson, Managing Director of Czech Republic, JLL, commented: “We are delighted to enhance our capabilities for clients by investing in our capital markets team with talented professionals such as Ben. His broad European and Asian experience, reputation and client relationships are extremely strong, and we look forward to benefiting from his strong track record.”

Ben Rose, Head of Capital Markets, Czech Republic, JLL, added: “I’m excited to take on this new role and the prospect of leading the capital markets business in Prague to deliver outstanding results to our clients. I look forward to working with JLL’s CEE capital markets teams across the region to cement JLL’s position as the leading capital markets advisor in the Czech Republic.”
