HSF System, a member of the PURPOSIA Group investment holding, has completed the construction of the first warehouse hall in the LOGspot Logatec logistics complex in Slovenia. The project investor is the development company Atrios.

Located just 25 km from Ljubljana and 75 km from the port of Koper, with a direct connection to the A1 motorway, the project for almost €20 million included not only the construction of the hall itself, but also the implementation of related infrastructure and technologies on an area of 54,199 sqm. The newly completed part of the project includes 26,525 sqm of warehouse space, 14,485 sqm of paved roads and 13,189 sqm of green areas.

The logistics hall is located in a karst area, which meant several months of earthworks and geological surveys were necessary to prepare the terrain. The location is also one of the most seismologically demanding areas in Slovenia, which is why the design of the structure had to be approached with care.

The building has become the first logistics facility in Slovenia with BREEAM Very Good environmental certification. It is equipped with, for example, charging stations for electric cars or air-to-air heat pumps. Photovoltaics with battery storage will also be added to the roof.

“This project is the first to carry our own LOGspot logistics network brand. We completed the project two weeks earlier than planned, and the premises have already been handed over to our clients,” says Michal Bubán, Managing Partner of Atrios.
