Strategic investor Hili Properties, part of Hili Ventures, has purchased a controlling stake of 75% in the Miro office building, developed by Speedwell in northern Bucharest, for an undisclosed sum. The remaining stake in the project will remain in the developer’s ownership for another two years.

This will be the second office building in Hili Properties’ Bucharest portfolio alongside the ART Business Centre.

“Miro presents us with a solid, long-term investment and perfectly fits our strategy to build on the potential of assets for the benefit of our shareholders, tenants and the local community,” said George Kakouras, Managing Director of Hili Properties.

The office building with a 23,000 sqm area was delivered at the end of 2021 and is almost fully leased to Romanian and multinational firms.

Law firm Țucă, Zbârcea & Asociații supported Speedwell on the deal, while legal advisors Mușat & Asociații, Deloitte and Colliers worked for the buyer.
