French HVAC supplier Groupe Atlantic will open its first Romanian manufacturing plant within the PWP Bucharest North project owned by Alinso in Ploiești. The group will invest around €60 million in the new facility that will be developed on a land plot of 145,000 sqm.

The company will make hot water cylinders and boiler plates in the new plant that is expected to start operations in Q4 2024.

Arnaud Codron, the Industrial Director of Groupe Atlantic, said the new Romanian plant will support the company’s existing manufacturing base in Central Europe.

“We chose this location because it allows us to combine the proximity to our customers, with the competitiveness and our qualifications,” said Codron.

Groupe Atlantic has 31 industrial sites and 43 commercial locations, reporting a net turnover of €3.2 billion.
