Real estate group Globalworth has received 47 ESG-related certifications for its Romanian portfolio during 2022. One of the highlights in terms of sustainability was the scoring achieved at Globalworth Square, which got a BREEAM Outstanding accreditation, with a 99% scoring.

The company considers investments in energy-efficient properties as a business advantage and a part of broader preparatory actions for nZEB.

“Achieving these certifications was a very rigorous process, and our success shows that we are truly dedicated to best practices, high quality and continuous improvement. In the future, we will all have to rethink the way we build cities to enable greener and smarter living for all, better spaces that provide peace of mind. We are happy to bring the future closer,” stated Marian Popa, Managing Director at Globalworth Romania.

Last year, Globalworth renewed BREEAM In-use green certifications for several office projects as well as LEED green certifications. The company also got WELL Health-Safety Rating for all its office properties and Disabled Persons Certification for 16 office buildings.
