Ghelamco Poland has announced the sale of Prochownia Łomianki retail park. The new buyer of the building is the LCP Properties group.

Prochownia Łomianki is located on Warszawska Street - the main shopping street of Łomianki. The retail park developed by Ghelamco is a facility with a total area of 5,500 sqm, including 21 retail and service units. In addition to a diverse retail offer and a great location, its advantages include a car park for 150 cars and a site plan that allows customers to access the premises directly from the outside. The main tenants of Prochownia Łomianki include Lidl, Tedi, Rossman, Papiernik by Empik, Neonet, KROSS, Wierzejki, Santander Bank or Credit Agricole. The transaction covered part of the building with a total area of 3,000 sqm, excluding the Lidl chain shop.

"Prochownia Łomianki was a very successful and needed project on the local market, which is constantly popular among the city's residents. We have now sold the property to LCP Properties, which is in line with our investment strategy. I am convinced that the retail park in the hands of the new owner will remain an attractive place for everyday shopping", says Jeroen van der Toolen, Ghelamco's Managing Director for Central and Eastern Europe.

"As an experienced investor, we include only the best properties in our portfolio, and Prochownia Łomianki is undoubtedly such a place. This type of property will remain in the circle of our interest even in times of economic uncertainty, as it provides a guarantee of quality and constitutes a safe investment. Prochownia Łomianki is the 40th retail park in our ownership and the 82nd property in Poland. Until the end of the year we will actively try to acquire more retail projects and we are open to new proposals", says Krystian Modrzejewski, Group Operations Director at LCP Properties Poland.
