Courier company FAN Curier announced it will complete this year an investment of  €7 million in the logistic HUB in Cluj-Napoca after it received the final building permit this month.

The logistic HUB in Cluj-Napoca is the third one built after those in Ștefănești and Brașov and will be equipped with a sorting belt with a capacity of 7,500 parcels/hour and will have 300 employees.

"We are happy that, after three years of waiting, we can start investments in the HUB in Cluj, an extremely important transit point for us, which will be connected with Iași, Baia Mare, and Oradea. The HUB in Cluj will help us in the efforts we make to reduce delivery times and increase productivity", says Adrian Mihai, co-founder of FAN Courier.

FAN Courier also aims to expand the HUB in Brașov by another 2,500 sqm, analyzing the opportunity to start a new logistics center in Ștefănești, in order to develop fulfillment and logistics services. The HUB in Brașov was opened in 2016, has an area of 34,000 sqm and the investment was €5 million.

FAN Courier is a Romanian company founded in 1998 by Felix Pătrășcanu, Adrian Mihai, and Neculai Mihai.
