More than 70 representatives of the Polish logistics real estate market took part in the third edition of EQT on the Move: Ride the Lakes. The event brought together tenants, warehouse developers, real estate advisors and business partners, along with their families, in an informal setting. Participants cycled selected sections of the Mazury Cycling Loop between 12 and 14 June.

Held between 12 and 14 June, the event followed selected sections of the Mazury Cycling Loop. The format encouraged conversation and relationship building across the real estate sector. Participants could join for the full weekend or selected stages, covering between 190 and 220 kilometres depending on the programme. Starting and ending in Ryn, the route passed Lake Bełdany, the Pisz Forest and Lake Boczne.

EQT on the Move combines active lifestyle with relationship-building across the real estate sector. For EQT Real Estate, it serves as an opportunity to strengthen engagement with the Polish logistics market, where the firm has been expanding its presence and portfolio.

"Three years ago, we rode from Warsaw to Kraków. Two years ago, from Warsaw to Gdańsk. This year, we wanted to show that cycling is not about reaching a destination as quickly as possible, but about the journey itself. The bicycle was simply a way to bring people together," said Waldemar Grabka, Senior Director, Investment and Leasing, EQT Real Estate Poland. One attendee said: "The best things are often the simplest: outdoor activity, good food, and the opportunity to meet and talk with relaxed people."

"Poland continues to be a key market for EQT Real Estate in Europe. Over the past five years, we have acquired 1,057,140 sqm of assets in the country and developed 384,000 sqm of new space, while leasing more than 330,000 sqm across seven submarkets in the last six months alone. EQT on the Move creates an opportunity to bring stakeholders together and better understand the trends shaping the logistics market," said Joerg Kreindl, Partner and Head of Leasing, EQT Real Estate Europe. Eurobuild CEE and Property Forum CEE served as media partners.
