EPG Group has opened a new arcade in the Varyáda shopping center in the Karlovy Vary region. The center is expanding with 17 new retail units, an information booth and a relaxation zone for customers. 


The new front arcade offers Czech and foreign brands. Fashion will be represented by Tommy Hilfiger and Marks & Spencer. The retail mix also includes the premium iWant store with Apple electronics, Douglas perfumery and Don Pealo, selling wine, cigars and delicacies. The Moje ambulance clinic opens the medical care centre.  

Other retail units opening within a few weeks include Alpine Pro, McPen, CCC, Yes zlatnictví, Kanzelsberger, Buzz, Marionnaud. 

The Varyáda shopping center is celebrating 20 years of its existence this year. There are almost 70 stores on more than 18,000 sqm. It is currently undergoing modernisation and expansion while in full operation. The expected completion date is autumn 2025. Varyáda, together with the Central Most shopping center, belongs to the portfolio of the investment company EPG Group.

New appointments

  • Colliers Hungary has appointed Balint Laszlo as Director and Head of Design & Build. Laszlo brings over a decade of expertise in technical project management and fit-out execution, with a specific focus on the office and industrial sectors. He previously served as Head of Fit Out at Futureal Group, where he managed project execution, technical delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. His professional background also includes site management and commercial leadership roles.
  • NEPI Rockcastle has nominated Zelda Roscherr as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Roscherr will stand for election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2026. André van der Veer, currently an Independent Non-Executive Director, will retire at the conclusion of the AGM and will not seek re-election.
  • Panattoni has promoted Nick Cripps to the position of Head of International Capital Markets for Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and India. Based in London, Cripps is tasked with leading the firm’s global capital markets strategy across 18 diverse markets. He joined Panattoni five years ago as Head of UK Capital Markets.
