Duda Development has sold a Silesian retail park portfolio to a private investor. Avison Young represented the purchaser. The price has not been disclosed.

Two retail parks, one located in Zabrze and another one in Gliwice, were acquired by private investor.

Zabrze retail park is located in the southern part of town, just near cross-town route 902 (Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa), well connected both with other parts of the town and Silesian agglomeration and accessible both by car and by public transit. The entire area of over 3,000 sqm has been let. The biggest tenants are Biedronka, Pepco, Rossmann and TEDi: stores covering a wide scope of customers’ everyday needs. Moreover, there is KFC and Orlen petrol station in the close vicinity.

Gliwice retail park is located in the eastern part of town, near the A1 highway and cross-town route 902 (Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa), and is also very well commuted. It offers over 3,300 sqm GLA which is also 100% rented. The main tenants are renowned discount retailers: Aldi, Pepco, Rossmann, TEDi.

"The transacted retail park portfolio offers what the best quality retail park in the regional market should have: great location, excellent tenant mix and additional facilities. In times of market uncertainty, investors tend to focus on the best projects, offering a perspective of long and stable income. Therefore, this Silesian retail park portfolio, with model location, perfect visibility and long WAULT with multiple anchors was a very attractive purchase for our client," comments Artur Czuba, Associate Director, Investment at Avison Young.

Avison Young jointly with Radomski REIM represented the purchaser. On behalf of the client, Avison Young identified the potential of the asset and conducted a due diligence process.
