The land is part of the former industrial platform Republica and Negoiță plans to development a residential complex here, according to Zf.ro. Law firm Stratulat Albulescu assisted the buyer in the transaction.

Negoiță is one of the biggest Romanian developers of residential units, with projects across the Romanian capital. His company has delivered over 7,000 homes until now.

In September 2019, his company started the development of mixed-use project Hils Palady, which includes 2,000 apartments and offices spanning more than 2,000 sqm. The investment is carried out on 4.8-hectare land plot that previously hosted an industrial project.
