A brand-new company, Equs, entered the Czech industrial real estate development market. It was founded by Tomáš Míček, who has many years of experience in top management of industrial developers, and the Ungelt Group, an investor and real estate developer that has been operating on the Czech market for more than 30 years.

The newly formed company Equs is entering the market with two main projects in Světlá nad Sázavou (about 100 km from Prague in the Vysočina Region) and Lovosice (about 67 km from Prague in the Ústí nad Labem Region). The future Equs Park Světlá already has a building permit, and Equs Park Lovosice should obtain it soon. Negotiations are currently underway for the purchase of further such projects. Equs aims to provide modern and well-located spaces for light manufacture and logistics in localities with high potential.

“The decision to establish Equs was motivated in particular by belief in the potential of industrial development in the Czech Republic and Europe, and by the desire to capitalize on our years of experience, hand in hand with Ungelt Group,” said Tomáš Míček co-founder and managing director of Equs. The company plans to introduce another five commercial real estate projects in 2024.

Tomáš Míček graduated from the Brno University of Technology in the civil engineering and management major. He has over 25 years of experience in the building industry and development. He worked in Prologis as Vice President and Head of Project Management for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Until 2022, he was Managing Director and Executive of P3 Logistic Parks Czech Republic. He is a Partner in Ungelt Group and Managing Director of its newly established subsidiary Equs.
