Cushman & Wakefield has strengthened the hospitality leadership team in Central, Eastern & Southeastern Europe. Alina Cazachevici has become the Head of Valuation & Advisory for Hospitality and Alternative sector in Central, Eastern & Southeastern Europe.

Together with Nicolas Horky, they are both co-heading the CEE and SEE hospitality team to provide the advisory and comprehensive services to clients. Within the hotel team, which has been operating at Cushman & Wakefield for nearly 20 years, Alina Cazachevici will focus on valuation and advisory services. Nicolas Horky, who joined the team in 2024, is responsible for hotel property transactions and operator selection. Tom Cejnar also focuses on operator selection in the region. All have extensive experience in the hotel industry, with Alina and Tom having previously worked at Cushman & Wakefield.

Their combined expertise is further enhanced by the long-standing leadership of Frederic Le Fichoux, who has over 25 years of experience in the hotel property market and has been with the company for more than 18 years. Based in Prague, he leads the European hotel transaction team and supports the CEE & SEE team.

The comprehensive hotel services offering in the Czech Republic is complemented by the role of Strategic Advisory and Head of Hospitality Research for the EMEA region, held by Borivoj Vokrinek, who has extensive international experience in hotel advisory and management.

Alina rejoined Cushman & Wakefield in 2024, focusing on valuation and advisory services for hospitality and alternative properties across Central and Eastern Europe. She also deals with feasibility and concept studies, commercial due diligence, and valuation of both single assets and portfolios for various purposes. She has over 16 years of experience in valuation and advisory as well as corporate finance in international corporations. During her career, she has valued over 500 hotels or hospitality-related properties across CEE & SEE countries. Her track record includes stand-alone hotels (branded and independent), hotel portfolios, and mixed-use schemes combining various elements such as hotel, branded residences, conference facilities, entertainment facilities or retail. She has also been involved in valuation of senior housing portfolio and student accommodation projects.

Alina is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. She graduated from the Technical University of Moldova, Real Estate Department, and holds a master’s degree in economics and finance at Charles University in Prague. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, and playing board games.

„I am personally very proud to welcome back Alina and Tom who have come back to Cushman & Wakefield Hospitality team after 24 months. I am also very happy to welcome a long acquaintance and former client Nico. Together and with the rest of the team and support from Borik Vokrinek, they will provide the value creation services to our investors, lenders, operators, and developers,” commented Frederic Le Fichoux, Head of Hotel Transactions EMEA at Cushman & Wakefield.
