Cushman & Wakefield recently announced new appointments to its enhanced CEE leadership team. These appointments are to support regional client requirements with the best possible services. Key business areas, including office agency and industrial & logistics agency, have been reinforced with new CEE appointments.

Joanna Sinkiewicz, based in Poland, has become Head of Industrial Agency for CEE and Radka Novak, based in the Czech Republic, has been appointed Head of Office Agency for CEE.

Radka Novak has over 20 years of experience in the real estate sector and belongs to a select group of most highly respected professionals on the Czech market. Radka joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2008 and since then she has successfully managed an office team that leads the market; she has advised key office occupiers such as Amazon, Facebook and KPMG. Radka creates effective marketing and leasing strategies aiming at increasing the value of projects and assets utilising the 10 years of experience she had acquired with the international developer, Skanska. In her private life, Radka is an animal lover who likes to spend her spare time with her family in the countryside, surrounded by animals.

“The countries in the CEE region have shared roots, very successful teams and similar kinds of clients. I have always hoped to be able to unite our efforts, to combine our experience and present these diverse small countries as one strong region – all to improve our business development position. I am delighted to now be able to convert these hopes into action and I am excited to be joining forces with the many inspiring colleagues leading the Office Agencies in the CEE region. My major focus will be to coordinate business development towards our mutual occupier clients. I also aim to expand the platform for data and information exchange to improve communication and reporting for the benefit of our CEE landlord clients,” said Radka Novak, Head of Office Agency, CEE.

Joanna Sinkiewicz has been strengthening and expanding the Polish Industrial & Logistics team since 2017, as well as extending the scope of services. She has years of experience in cooperating with tenants representing a range of industries. Joanna graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw and the Warsaw School of Economics, having read Management and Marketing, majoring in Real Estate Management. She is a Certified Commercial Investment Member and an SIOR member and she manages to combine being CEE team leader with the role of a mother of two little girls. Ecology and sustainability are important to her - not only in her private but also in her professional life, so at work she takes the opportunity to inform clients, emphasizing the importance of modern eco-friendly solutions in warehouses.

“Cushman & Wakefield's Industrial and Logistics Departments have for years been one of the leading agencies of the commercial real estate market in CEE. Over the last three years, our departments have evolved into a group of experts with vast knowledge in various areas, and whose cooperation allows for solutions that are tailor-made to the individual needs of our clients. The successes of our experts have established beyond doubt that the team is developing in the right direction, with a new and pioneering strategy for dynamically changing markets. There will be many challenges ahead, but a smart, strategic approach and effective cooperation will make a real difference. My goal is to support the individual development of our fantastic experts, improving their strengths and our teamwork, investing in new technologies for increased efficiency and standards, and focussing on the most promising areas of the market. We want to form an integrated team with a real impact that will shape the market and its standards. With the right people, nothing is impossible,” said Joanna Sinkiewicz, Head of Industrial Agency, CEE.

The carbon cost is already in your building. You just can't see it yet

by Property Forum
A structural shift is rewriting the financial logic of European commercial real estate. It isn't being driven by ESG pressure or voluntary sustainability labels. It's being driven by regulation — and the numbers are concrete enough that ignoring them is becoming a financial risk. A recent white paper by workcloud24 traces the mechanism in detail: how the operational energy and CO₂ performance of a building transmits into net operating income, asset value, and financing conditions. The argument isn't that green buildings are virtuous. It's that inefficient buildings are becoming measurably more expensive to own, operate, and finance.
