CTP has secured a major international logistics firm as tenant for 80,000 sqm of build-to-suit space at its new CTPark Budapest-Érd in Hungary. The logistics operator signed a long-term lease for the distribution hub, which will be delivered in Q1 2027.
The tenant chose CTPark Budapest-Érd for its location with direct access to the M6 highway and proximity to Hungary's M0, M1, M7 and M6 motorways. The Érd and Budafok-Tétény regions are close to the Danube River, providing access to a skilled local workforce. This represents CTP's sixteenth industrial and logistics park in Hungary.
CTP began developing the park in January 2025 on 70 hectares of land near Budapest. The development will eventually provide 250,000 sqm of Grade-A space. The 80,000 sqm deal, combined with the first phase's 75,000 sqm GLA, demonstrates strong pre-letting interest in the submarket.
The park will feature service facilities within landscaped green spaces, with pedestrian and bicycle routes connecting to Tétényliget railway station and the EuroVelo 6 Danube cycling route. All buildings will incorporate energy efficient features including thermal insulation, LED lighting, and PV panels, plus green façades to enhance biodiversity.
"Sustainability, innovation, and social responsibility are at the heart of CTP's philosophy," said Dr. Ferenc Gondi, Managing Director of CTP Hungary. "We've worked closely with local municipalities and other stakeholders as partners to support community initiatives as we look to strengthen the local economy." CTP has planted 2.5 hectares of new forest along the Danube and partnered with the Hungarian Garden Heritage Foundation for additional features.
