Due to the growing interest of companies in locating their business in the Central and Eastern European region, Colliers has launched a new business line within its Strategic Advisory department – Business Consulting, which will cover the entire CEE market. Jan Kamoji-Czapiński, an expert with long-term experience in strategic consulting for foreign companies, who has been supporting Colliers' clients in the EMEA region for the last year, will be responsible for its development.

Business Consulting places investments from the manufacturing sector at its centre. Colliers’ experts from the department will offer companies just starting operations in the Central European market or planning to expand in the region comprehensive strategic advisory in terms of business development, choosing a location, talent availability, business expansion and government incentives. Jan Kamoji-Czapiński will be coordinating the work of Colliers' advisory teams within regional structures. These teams will advise clients from the manufacturing sector, particularly in cross-border transactions. Clients will get a comprehensive overview of the best opportunities for further development based on effective information and the know-how of our experts throughout the company.

“We can see a significant inflow of foreign direct investment to CEE countries. Many companies have decided to relocate production closer to their markets, which has been caused by the pandemic, but also the competitiveness of the CEE region in terms of cost and labour market access. Our key responsibilities include supporting our investors in deeply recognising the potential of individual countries in the context of their operations, making location strategy proposals, investment negotiations, mapping talent in a particular market, advising on and negotiating government incentives and helping to prepare all documents. It is important to us that our clients – regardless of where they invest – receive a top-quality consulting service”, says Jan Kamoji-Czapiński, Associate Director of Business Consulting CEE in the Strategic Advisory department at Colliers.

„Nowadays, making business decisions is a comprehensive, contextual and continual process. At Colliers, we collect data, analyse and interpret it to support our consulting services. By developing the Business Consulting line in the Central and Eastern Europe region and leading local teams made up of highly experienced experts, Jan will provide Colliers’ clients with high-quality analyses necessary to make precise plans and deep strategic decisions”, says Marta Machus-Burek, Senior Partner in Colliers, Director of Strategic Advisory at Colliers.

“As experienced advisors operating in the CEE region for more than two decades, we know its potential and want to present it to our clients”, says Monika Rajska-Wolińska, Chief Executive Officer, Colliers CEE. “Locating a business in this part of Europe by high-tech companies is a double win. Our clients get the opportunity for dynamic development and what is more, the position of Central and Eastern Europe on the investment map of the world is strengthening. These two targets are our priorities”.

Jan Kamoji-Czapiński joined Colliers in 2021. He took up the position of Associate Director in the EMEA Location Strategy department and was responsible for supporting companies in the development and implementation of location strategies. Jan joined the company from PAIH, where he was Director of the Investment Centre. Under his leadership, over the last years, the Centre has supported 200+ investment projects located in Poland from various sectors such as Shared Services, BPO, IT, automotive, e-Mobility, R&D, aviation, and many others, including the largest projects of global companies with a total value of over €7 billion. Jan’s extensive experience includes supporting Polish and foreign investors in business development in Poland and abroad, with a special focus on location advisory, public aid as well as administrative and legal matters.
