Colliers has appointed Raul Garcia Rodriguez as Real Estate Transformation, Value & Growth Lead for Central and Eastern Europe. Based in Prague, he will focus on ESG-driven transformation and the repositioning of assets, including retrofitting and redevelopment.

Garcia Rodriguez has more than 25 years of international experience in sustainability, climate strategy and real estate transformation. He previously led Sustainable Real Estate Services at Deloitte and EY Central Europe. His expertise covers retail, industrial and logistics assets, alongside experience in residential and living sectors.

In his new role, he will integrate Colliers’ capital markets, occupier advisory, redevelopment and ESG capabilities into client strategies aimed at improving efficiency, resilience and long-term value. “Raul’s appointment reinforces our role as a trusted advisor in ESG and transformation across the region. His expertise in sustainable development and business transformation will help clients navigate the evolving landscape of ESG opportunities in CEE,” said Monika Rajska-Wolińska, CEO of Colliers for Central and Eastern Europe.

Garcia Rodriguez is a member of the UN Economic Commission for Europe’s Real Estate Market Advisory Group and co-chairs its task force on energy efficiency standards in buildings. He also advises Premios Verdes, a sustainability awards platform in Latin America, and lectures on ESG at universities and industry events.

“The industry is undergoing a fundamental shift, driven by investor demand, regulation and the need to futureproof assets. Clients are increasingly seeking integrated solutions that combine technical excellence with long-term value creation,” said Garcia Rodriguez.
