The valuation team of Cresa Poland advised Colas, part of the Bouygues Group, on their acquisition of 11 asphalt plants from Skanska.

To finalise the transaction, the team of Cresa Poland, headed by Urszula Sobczyk and Arkadiusz Bielecki, valued the lands, buildings and structures in 11 locations across Poland.

The deal was one of the largest transactions on the market of road and motorway construction in recent years. The asphalt plants sold are located in Gdansk, Poznań, Nasławice, Zabrze, Skawina, Anielin, Warsaw, Ostaszewo, Gutkowo, Dębska Wola and Bór.

This transaction enables Colas, which has been successfully operating in western Poland for two decades, to extend its foothold across the country. In addition to the plants, the company also acquired 330 skilled employees, as well as machines and equipment from Skanska. The agreement took effect on 1 April 2019.
