A scheme from the portfolio of IKEA Centres Polska S.A. will for the first time be managed externally. Centrum Franowo, completed within 15 months and delivered to the market at the end of September this year, comprises 15 000 sqm GLA, out of which 7 500 sqm on level 0 is dedicated to retail and services, while the remaining 7 500 sqm on level +1 will be used for offices.

The objective for BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland in managing the complex is to increase the scheme’s profitability in the long-term by optimization of operating costs and improvement of the workplace standard on an ongoing basis, which is of key importance from the tenants’ point of view. The consultancy’s involvement in the new project will additionally focus on issues relating to coordination of marketing activities, as well as management and analysis of data generated by the scheme.

Centrum Franowo, located in Greater Poland’s capital right next to an IKEA store, comprises more than 30 shops, including Piotr i Paweł, Media Expert, Martes Sport, Pepco, Hendi. Architecturally, its design draws on Scandinavian patterns and style. Natural materials, bright colours and the maximum utilization of daylight are aimed at turning shopping at Centrum Franowo into an enjoyable and comfortable experience. On the one hand, the new complex in Franowo fits in with the retail character of the area, while on the other hand it expands the offer of convenient and quick shopping on the go.
