The European distributor and importer of spare parts for passenger cars will join as a tenant at MLP Poznań West, leasing a facility with an increased height of 11.5 metres. The facility, planned to be delivered in the third quarter of 2022, will meet the requirements for BREEAM certification.

Auto Partner S.A. has signed another contract with MLP Group S.A. The term of the new contract is 15 years, with an option to extend by a further 10 years. The developer will build for the distributor about 14,500 sqm of space, of which approximately 13,600 sqm will be used for warehouse purposes and 880 sqm will be used as staff and office space.

The facility will have 11.5 metres of clear height, which will increase storage capacity. Additionally, the entire building will be designed as a cross-dock facility, and the office part will be equipped with glazing that will increase the amount of daylight and create better working conditions for employees. Moreover, MLP Group plans that the facility will be built according to BREEAM certification requirements and will feature advanced unloading docks as well as broad parking and turning areas.

The warehouse will be equipped with LED lighting, Interact by Signify, which allows adjusting the way the lamps work to the nature of the tenant’s work. The lighting system uses daylight harvesting and presence sensors and can be controlled automatically. Apart from its commitment to environmental protection, MLP Group also seeks to ensure comfort of the facility users.

The completed facility is scheduled to be handed over to the tenant early in the third quarter of 2022.

Auto Partner S.A. has been cooperating with MLP Group since 2016 and will operate from two MLP Group parks: MLP Pruszków I and MLP Poznań West. It will receive a total of nearly 28,000 sqm of modern warehouse space.

Auto Partner S.A. is a fast-growing importer and distributor of spare parts for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and motorcycles, with a 28-year presence in the European market. The company operates as a sales (mainly e-commerce) and logistics platform for just-in-time supplies of spare parts to dispersed customers, mainly repair shops and automotive retailers.

“The main objective of the investment is to further increase the Auto Partner Group’s revenue by expanding the scale of operations. Thanks to this location of the logistics and distribution centre, we can streamline the process of entry of goods from our suppliers. We can also develop our sales structure and effectively improve conditions of cooperation with car parts buyers, both in north-western Poland and in export markets,” added Piotr Janta, Sales Director, Vice President of Auto Partner S.A.

“I am glad that our current tenant has decided to lease another facility from MLP Group’s portfolio. The fact that we have been chosen as a developer and facility manager proves that our offer fully meets the client’s expectations. We always have a flexible approach to the needs of our business partners, and as part of this project we will build for Auto Partner a warehouse with a height increased to 11.5 metres. Recently, the MLP Poznań West project has been expanded by additional land and, given the current level of interest from investors in Poland and abroad, I believe that we will quickly commercialize all of the space in our park. Currently, the Poznań market is considered one of the most attractive investment regions in Poland," said Agnieszka Góźdź, Sales Director at MLP Group S.A.

MLP Poznań West is a distribution centre located on the western side of Poznań, directly by the S11 expressway and only 7 km from the A2 motorway and S11 junction. It is also very close to the Poznań-Ławica airport.  The target tenant group includes primarily e-commerce, logistics, distribution and light industrial manufacturing companies. Ultimately, MLP Poznań West will offer approximately 150,000 sqm of warehouse and office space.
