AFI Group has announced a new investment in the Nová Elektra residential complex in Prague 9 - Hloubětín. The project, currently being developed by Finep, will be acquired by AFI after completion planned for December 2026 and added to its rental housing portfolio under the AFI Home brand.

The shell construction has just been completed and the installation of technologies and finishing work is beginning. Two modern residential buildings with four sections will offer 291 rental apartments ranging from 1+kk to 4+kk layouts. Operations are planned to start in Q2 2027, after the individual apartments are furnished.

"Nová Elektra is our first project where the building is being developed by Finep. Our cooperation has been based on trust, professionalism and a common goal of achieving quality results from the beginning. Completion of the shell construction is an important step that moves the project to the next phase of implementation," says Pavel Jelínek, Chief Engineer at AFI Czech Republic.

The project consists of four eight-storey buildings with shared underground garages with a capacity of 309 parking spaces, technical facilities and cellars. Most apartments have balconies, while ground-floor units feature front gardens. Residents can look forward to 24-hour reception and building management services for maintenance and minor repairs. A private courtyard with greenery and relaxation areas will help build community.

"Growing interest in quality and affordable rental housing confirms we are on the right path. AFI Home Nová Elektra is a logical continuation of our development in Prague and we believe that thanks to modern layouts, furnished apartments and in-house services, it will become an attractive choice for a wide range of tenants," comments Elena Pisotchi, Rental Housing Manager at AFI Czech Republic.
