The new hotel project of will be located in Čeladná, in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic and will welcome its first guests in 2026.

Thanks to an agreement signed between Accor and Fardela Solutions (member of Eldunar Group SE), the Mövenpick brand will re-enter the Czech hospitality market, which is a major milestone for the local industry. “It is my greatest pleasure to announce, that the Mövenpick brand will once again enter the Czech market and offer travellers a new level of hotel services. Thanks to the cooperation and mutual trust with our partner, we can bring an international hospitality brand to the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. Čeladná is a foothill municipality with one of the largest golf resorts in the country, which has hosted 3 years of the PGA European tour. I am sure that combination of the amazing destination with premium amenities of the Mövenpick brand will make the new hotel a place with rich history and vibrant presence,” says Maria Drăgulin, Development Director Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria & Moldova at Accor.

Mövenpick Čeladná Hotel & Apartments will offer 60 rooms and apartments, an all-day dining restaurant with 80 seats, an outdoor terrace, and a seating area with a playground. There will be a wellness and fitness area and a meeting room able to fit 70 people.

"The charm of the local nature has been attracting visitors since the 19th century when Čeladná became a popular tourist area. Thanks to its location in Moravian-Silesian Region, the village is an ideal starting point for the most famous tourist destinations of the Beskydy Mountains, with enormous potential for tourism and hospitality. We are excited to develop the project of the Mövenpick hotel in the area and the whole country. We believe that the new property will be positioned as the leading and most prestigious hotel, as being the only branded hotel in the area," says Petr Frydl, Cluster General Manager on behalf of the owner.

Čeladná is a village with over half of its territory covered by forests, a large part of it belonging to the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area. The town is also known for its spa and rehabilitation centres offering healing and wellness stays by continuing the spa tradition dating back to 1902.
