1Development has announced the start of construction for Nordului 50, a boutique residence with panoramic views over Herastrau Lake and Park. The project offers residents a perspective of Bucharest with three kilometers of continuous green space and direct views extending to Piata Victoriei. Built on a 3,200 sqm plot, the project is scheduled for completion in spring 2027.

Nordului 50 comprises 29 residences and two penthouses across two buildings. Each apartment starts from 200 sqm, while the penthouses offer layouts of 600 sqm with a 180 sqm terrace, and 400 sqm with a 90 sqm terrace, all on a single level. Ground-floor apartments will feature private gardens designed by landscape architects.

"The view from Nordului 50 is breathtaking. Nearly three kilometers of uninterrupted greenery, stretching over Herastrau and all the way to Piata Victoriei," states Raluca Stancu, COO at 1Development. The lobby connects the two buildings through a greenhouse-inspired structure designed as an oasis of light and greenery.

The building features two underground parking levels and six above-ground floors, with no more than one neighboring residence per floor. Technical specifications include underfloor heating, air conditioning, continuous fresh-air ventilation, and integrated smart-home systems. Each master bedroom functions as an en-suite apartment with private bathroom and walk-in closet.

"We invested in quality of life, not just apparent beauty. Contemporary design, materials and sustainable solutions come together harmoniously," added Raluca Georgescu, Project Manager at 1Development.

1Development has selected Bog'Art as the contractor, and the project is designed to achieve BREEAM certification.

The developer specializes in residential projects in Bucharest, with flagship projects including Floreasca 1, Romania's first residential complex certified under the Green Homes program.
