Dr. Susanne Hügel works at CBRE in the area of Digital Innovation for the EMEA region and is responsible for CBRE’s networks with the European PropTech ecosystem. Susanne has an extensive knowledge and experience in the PropTech area since she herself earlier worked at a start-up in the field of intelligent energy management and smart home systems, and also wrote her doctoral thesis on »Innovation in the Real Estate Industry«. Based on her academic research that has been published in peer-reviewed journals, such as the International Journal of Innovation Management, she is recognized as one of the thought leaders on innovation in real estate.
