Pavel Krchňák is currently Head of Valuation at Oberbank AG in the Czech Republic. He and his team are responsible for the internal and external valuation of the bank's real estate collateral. He started his more than 15 years of experience at DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield, where he was responsible for the valuation of real estate portfolios across all sectors in Central and Eastern Europe and the UK (€4.7 billion of total volume). Pavel is a certified real estate valuer and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). He regularly lectures at specialised study programmes at the University of Economics in Prague (MBARE) or the Institute of Higher Studies (Olomouc). He has been an active member of the Asset Valuation Working Group of the Czech Banking Association since 2016. He holds degrees from at the University of Economics in Prague (the Institute of Property Valuation), Palacky University Olomouc, of Masaryk University (LL.M. Construction in legal and economic context).
