Miles Skinner is Head of Investment Management for the UK & Ireland at Union Investment Real Estate, one of Europe's leading real estate investment managers, where he is responsible for the investment strategy and performance of a €3.5 billion UK and Ireland portfolio. With more than 17 years' experience in real estate investment, Miles has advised on and led significant commercial transactions, while also overseeing the strategic repositioning of complex, institutional assets. His experience spans investment management, asset management and transactions, having held senior roles at Union Investment, Invesco Real Estate and CBRE. Recognised for combining deep market insight with a practical, strategic perspective, Miles regularly advises senior leadership on investment strategy, market trends and emerging sectors, and has extensive experience working with institutional investors across the UK and Europe. Fluent in German and proficient in French, he has built a career collaborating with investors, occupiers, developers and public-sector stakeholders. At the conference, Miles will share his perspectives on the evolving UK real estate market, investment strategy and the opportunities and challenges shaping the next phase of the property cycle.
