Matej Horňák focuses on the macroeconomic development of the Slovak economy. He graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava with a focus on economic policy. During his studies, he worked as a research assistant at the Industriewissenschaftliches Institut in Vienna. In February 2020, he joined Slovenská sporiteľňa. Since then, he has attended dozens of conferences as a speaker and became the most quoted economic analyst of the year 2022. Currently, he is also an elected member of the Local Parliament.
