Since 2003, Livia has held various positions in the central public administration within the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of European Integration and the Ministry of Public Finance, including the position of Secretary General of the Ministry of Health. Between 2017 and the end of 2018, she held the position of Director within the Tax and Legal Consulting Department of PwC Romania, also part of the integrated Public Services Team. She has been involved in managing a wide range of projects, with a focus on access to finance. From February 2019 to April 2020, she held the position of Director for Corporate Relations, Public Authorities and Alternative Markets within Therme Group, a wellness company with operations in Romania, Austria, Germany, the UK, UAE and North America and she acted as an independent consultant involved in various projects with institutions like the Delegation of the EC to Ukraine, the World Bank and the Romanian Ministry of Health. Currently, she holds the position of Public Affairs Director and EU Funds of E.ON Romania – a large utility company with operation in the North part of Romania - with extensive responsibilities also in managing the Company’s EU-funded projects portfolio. She has an in-depth understanding of the legal and administrative framework specific to the Romanian central and local administration, an extensive expertise in strategizing, policy formulation and implementation along with a relevant international experience in the field of public procurement, concessions, PPPs, state aid, competition and accessing various sources of finance.
