Dr. Ekkehard Franzke is a partner with A.T. Kearney and leads the firm’s Private Equity Practice in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has over twenty-three years of consulting and private equity experience. In his consulting career he advised around 100 buyout situations with an aggregate value of more than € 30 B.Ekkehard focuses on general industries and consumer/retail. Functionally his focus is on strategy and corporate finance, as well as on top and bottom-line operational improvement programs.Ekkehard made 14 private equity investments (lead and co-).Ekkehard holds a Ph.D. with highest distinction in Economics form Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and a Master’s in Economics from Regensburg University / University of Colorado / Boulder / U.S.A.
