Álmos Mikesy

Álmos Mikesy has been Chairman of the Board and CEO of Gránit Asset Management since February 2023, having joined the company's Board of Directors in April 2021 and served as Deputy CEO in his first year. He brings more than fifteen years of experience in finance and business, starting his career at the Hungarian Development Bank in 2007 and later playing a key role in building Hiventures, where he rose from Head of Business Development to Investment Director and ultimately Deputy CEO, gaining hands-on expertise in venture capital, private equity and M&A. He is a graduate of Corvinus University of Budapest and holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from WU Vienna University of Economics and Business. Under his leadership, Gránit Asset Management has become the ’real estate specialist’ of the Hungarian fund management market, with over €5 billion in assets under management and more than 600,000 sqm of GLA in its real estate funds, serving retail investors, premium wealth management clients and institutional investors alike. The firm's 5B Strategy sets out its ambition to build a premium CEE office portfolio across five capitals: Budapest, Belgrade and Bucharest, where Gránit is already present, and Bratislava and Vienna – Bécs in Hungarian, hence the fifth B – where it is actively screening opportunities.
