David has 30 years of experience acquiring, developing, managing and disposing of property companies and portfolios in Europe and the US. He has been working in Central and Eastern Europe since 1994 and residing in the region since 2004. David currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at Heitman Financial with portfolio management responsibilities for the Heitman European Property Partner funds. He relocated from the London office to Warsaw in 2013 to lead the Heitman Central European Income Fund. Prior to joining Heitman in 2010, he was the CEE regional Development Director/Asset Management Leader for GE Real Estate based in Prague. Previously, he led a pre-EU accession fund investing in Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Turkey based in Vienna and was the Managing Director of the CBRE Russia office in Moscow. David holds an MBA degree from George Mason University in Washington DC, a BS in Finance from Syracuse University in New York and has received professional designations from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI). He was a founding member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) District Councils in Russia and CEE and is currently engaged in the executive committee to establish a District Council in Poland.
