Alessandro Bronda was recruited in 2005 by Aberdeen Property Investors and is currently Head of Global Investment Strategy. He is based in Brussels and is responsible for devising investment strategies for the various funds and segregated accounts managed by Aberdeen. In addition he is also involved in various research activities including forecasting property returns performance across various sectors for Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Aberdeen, Alessandro was Head of European Research for the Catella Property Group. Before joining Catella he worked for Security Capital, a major American REIT, where he assisted in the investment decision-making process through research. Prior to taking up the position with Security Capital in 1998 he worked for Eurostat in Luxembourg and for the Ifo Institute for Economic Research in Munich. Alessandro holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and speaks four languages fluently. Alessandro is also founding member of the “Pan-European Property Common Interest Group” (PEPCIG), board member of the “European Real Estate Society” (ERES) and member of INREV’s research committee.
