Catella is a specialist in real estate investment and fund management with operations in 12 European countries. The group manages over €13 billion in assets under management and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. In 2022, it acquired the majority in the Polish company Warsaw Property Partners (“WPP”), which manages real estate assets of over €170 million.

“Poland is a key strategic market for us, and through our Polish operations, we have ambitious plans and see potential property development opportunities and significant investment management synergies across the group. Our Polish colleagues have shown a strong track record and exceptional knowledge of the Polish real estate market which is an important piece of our continued growth strategy”, says Christoffer Abramson, CEO and President of Catella Group.

As a result of the partnership, Catella Poland was established, managed by Christian Fojtl, Jacek Wachowicz and Bartosz Bzoma. As a part of the Catella Group – Catella Poland will fuel significant synergies for the entire group as an asset and investment manager for existing and future projects, and the change will also expand the group’s development opportunities.

“With Catella's European reach and capital, we can now present a broader offering to present and future clients. Backed by a proven investment management structure, we will now take part in investment and development opportunities in the Polish real estate market. The broader asset management skillset also puts us in the position to take the role as a preferred partner for larger European real estate investors. Looking ahead, our clients should see us as a financial partner and investor in real estate projects while taking on the role as operating partner securing long-term value creation”, says Jacek Wachowicz, CEO, Catella Poland WPP.
