Vastint Romania has officially launched the second phase of Timpuri Noi Square, its flagship urban regeneration project in Bucharest.

This expansion will double the complex's available office and commercial spaces, adding over 60,000 sqm of leasable area across two new office buildings, bringing the project’s total area to 112,000 sqm. The first phase, comprising three buildings with 52,100 sqm, is currently 100% leased.

Construction on the second phase commenced last year and is progressing on schedule for a Q4 2026 delivery. The new phase includes two A-class buildings of 8 and 15 floors, offering an additional 690 underground parking spaces and diverse retail options. Notably, it will house Romania's largest food hall within an office building, spanning nearly 6,000 sqm.

Antoniu Panait, Managing Director of Vastint Romania, commented, "After the success of the first phase, we are excited to announce today the official launching of the second phase of Timpuri Noi Square, an urban regeneration project of significant importance, for which we aim to achieve the highest level of green certification, more than 100 points LEED Platinum, continuing Vastint Romania's tradition of promoting sustainability across our portfolio."

The second phase is designed to be fossil-fuel-free, utilizing renewable energy sources like 1,700 sqm of photovoltaic panels and two heat pump systems, including 200 geothermal wells.
