Marriott debuts new brand in Croatia

AC Hotels by Marriott, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 31 brands, announced its brand debut in Croatia with the opening of AC Hotel by Marriott Split. Housed on the high floors of the 135-metre-high Westgate Tower, the hotel offers 214 guestrooms.

CC Real starts €20 million revitalisation of Split asset

CC Real has commenced its extensive €20 million refurbishment of City Center one Split, due for completion by the end of Q2 2024. Key upgrades will include the creation of a first-of-its-kind entertainment and leisure area for Croatia, lighting and interior design improvements, brand-new outdoor spaces, and measures to reduce energy consumption. More than 7,000 sqm of retail units will be reshaped to improve clustering, and more than 10,000 sqm of premises will be renovated.

New leases

Luxury watch brand Tissot has opened its first stationary showroom on the Polish market in Warsaw's Złote Tarasy. Kamalion and Pasibus have also joined the gallery's tenants.
Wipro IT Services Poland has leased office space at Varso Tower in Warsaw. The company's new office in the skyscraper, which was developed and managed by HB Reavis, occupies over 760 sqm on the 39th floor. JLL represented the tenant in the lease negotiation process.
Rossmann has leased around 400 sqm of space at Morski Park Handlowy in Gdanńsk. T-Mobile and RRmoto brands have also joined the facility's tenants over the past few months.

New appointments

Savills consultancy announced the strengthening of the Landlord Representation team within its office space division. Kamila Bartosik-Budecka and Michał Porzycki have joined the team.
Andreea Comșa has been appointed Commercial Director of Speedwell. In her new position, she will lead and coordinate the operations of the commercial department with responsibility for the sales and leasing teams. She will also oversee the implementation of sales and development strategies, being fully involved in marketing initiatives and expanding existing business segments.
Piotr Tarkowski has been appointed the new president of Dekpol Deweloper, a key division of the Dekpol Group, replacing outgoing president Sebastian Barandziek, the company announced.
