Cluj-based entrepreneur Dorin Bob's company Studium Green has completed the sale of 157,000 sqm of land in Jilava, near Bucharest, to retail group Altex and furniture retailer Mömax, part of Austrian company XXXLutz. The land will be integrated into a larger plot owned by Altex to form the basis for the largest retail park in southern Bucharest. The total value of the transactions between Studium Green and both companies exceeds €17 million.

Romania is ranked fourth among European countries with the most affordable housing, according to the Deloitte Property Index 2025. 

Investment fund NEPI Rockcastle has taken over the stake held by Carrefour in Ploiești Shopping City for an undisclosed sum. Following the transaction concluded in September, NEPI Rockcastle has become the sole shareholder of the shopping centre. 

Romanian developer Studium Green has purchased a property portfolio from Immobiliare Italo Romena, a subsidiary of former Italian lender Veneto Banca, for an undisclosed sum. 

Property developer Speedwell has signed a Promissory Sales Purchase Agreement for a 9-hectare land plot with the purpose of building a new project in Bucharest’s District 1.
