Solida Capital and Xior have formed a joint venture in Poland to jointly develop student housing projects. The first investment will be a student dormitory located in the Old Town area of the capital, close to the University of Warsaw campus.

Warehouse developer LCube has started preparations for the implementation of his next investment. In Mszczonów, on a plot of approx. 8 ha, a facility of approx. 35,000 sqm is to be built.

Industrial parks built five or ten years ago are as good as new facilities in many respects. Constructed in prime suburban and well-connected locations, they continue to be upgraded. Panattoni has leased out over 15,100 sqm to Chines e-commerce giant, JD International Logistics in its newly completed Panattoni Park Nadarzyn. The developer has also completed the process of the building’s certification in the BREAAM International New Construction system at the level “Excellent”. With a score of 78.4 percentage points the building has become the most ecological construction in Poland. The lease to JD.com was mediated by consultancy M4 Real Estate.

Kajima Properties has completed the development of one of Gdansk’s first built-to-rent schemes. A joint venture with local investor Tonsa and Olivia Business Centre, it marks Kajima’s first built-to-rent project in Poland and delivers a range of units from studios to three-bedroom family apartments. The building has been incorporated within the new @Home operational platform and has quick access to central Gdańsk, Olivia Business Centre and the rest of the Tri City area. The 3,185 sqm building has been fully let.
