M Core has significantly expanded its retail portfolio with over €150 million in strategic investments over the past six months and has an active pipeline exceeding €200 million in projected developments over the next two years.

The Romanian commercial real estate market saw a total investment volume of €155.8 million, with UK-based capital accounting for 68% of these deals, according to a study by Fortim Trusted Advisors, a member of the BNP Paribas Real Estate.

M Core Group has purchased seven strip malls in Romania from property investor MAS for an undisclosed sum. The projects with a combined leasable area of around 32,000 sqm have a full occupancy rate. The strip malls are based in Slobozia, Focșani, Râmnicu Sărat, Târgu Secuiesc, Sebeș, Făgăraș and Gheorgheni.

M Core, the biggest owner of retail parks in Romania, has purchased Shopping City Suceava from Argo Capital, for an undisclosed sum.

MAS has entered an agreement for the disposal of all its strip malls in Romania to M Core Group for €49 million. The deal pending approval from local authorities could be completed by March 2025.

Real estate investment group M Core has launched a strategic venture with Square 7 Properties for the management of 25 retail parks in Romania that it purchased at the end of last year.

The investments transaction market in Romania totaled around €500 million in 2023, down from a record of more than €1.2 billion in the previous year, in line with lower deal volumes that have been recorded across region and the major international markets, according to a Colliers Romania report.

Pan-European commercial property collective, M Core, has officially launched into the Romanian market following the acquisition of 25 retail parks from Mitiska REIM in a deal worth  €219 million.

M Core has opened another retail park in Łochów near Warsaw. It's the 46th retail park under M Park brand in Poland.

M Core is continuing its strategy of developing SBU (Small Business Unit) warehouses under its Multipark brand. The company has recently signed two projects in Poland, in Zabrze and Bydgoszcz.
