Nepi Rockcastle has inaugurated its first photovoltaic park in Chișineu-Criș, Arad County, Romania, marking a milestone in the shopping centre developer's sustainability efforts.

Nepi Rockcastle successfully issued a €500 million green bond that was eightfold oversubscribed, with an orderbook exceeding €4 billion from over 200 international investors.

Property group NEPI Rockcastle has priced a green €500 million unsecured long 7-year Eurobond maturing in January 2032 through its subsidiary NE Property. 

Property group NEPI Rockcastle has updated its green financing framework by introducing more stringent eligibility criteria for financing or refinancing the assets or expenditures classified as eligible green projects. 

Property group NEPI Rockcastle has raised the equivalent of €143 million equity from its latest scrip dividend, corresponding to approximately 85% of the final dividend payment for 2022, while also completing a secured green financing of €200 million for a 5-year term with Erste Group Bank and Raiffeisen Bank.

Property group NEPI Rockcastle, the largest owner of shopping centres in Romania, has secured a green loan totalling €‎60 million for Ploiești Shopping City from a syndicate of banks.
