Tribe, part of the Accor hospitality group, opened in mid-May its second hotel in Hungary, near the Budapest airport.

Developed by Wing, the 167-room Tribe Budapest Airport is directly connected to the ibis Styles Budapest Airport and located just steps from Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport.

The hotel features a restaurant and lounge with an outdoor terrace for up to 140 guests, a rooftop skybar with panoramic views, a 7th-floor fitness centre, a 150-seat conference room, and two meeting spaces. It is also poised to become one of Hungary's first BREEAM-certified hotels.

Noah Steinberg, CEO of Wing, stated: "The new hotel offers high-quality, convenient accommodation and meets a key need for additional capacity at Budapest Airport, reinforcing both Wing’s role in the hospitality sector and the airport’s importance in national tourism."

This marks another collaboration between Accor and Wing, following the ibis Styles Budapest Airport (opened in 2018) and the dual-branded ibis & Tribute Budapest Stadium at Liberty, Wing’s mixed-use development.

Wing will operate the new airport hotel under a management agreement with Accor. With this project, Wing has reached over 1,000 hotel rooms delivered in Hungary.
