Romania Sotheby’s International Realty announced revenue growth of 127% in 2020. Sotheby’s International Realty entered the Romanian market in July 2020 through the association with Artmark Historical Estate, a company founded in 2014 and which belonged to the Artmark group.

The company specializes in trading historic and luxury properties, and offers, globally, access to outstanding properties in Romania. Local customers can also access an impressive portfolio of properties from Sotheby’s International Realty’s global network.

"The year of 2020 put us in front of great challenges, but it also brought unique development opportunities. We managed to maintain a healthy flow of transactions and to reach a value of the properties in the portfolio of €620 million, increasing by 25% compared to 2019,” said Monica Barbu, CEO of Romania Sotheby’s International Realty.

US group Sotheby's International Realty announced that the value of sales brokered by independent sales consultants affiliated to its global network reached a record volume of $ 150 billion (124 billion euros) in 2020, up almost 32% from 2019, in a year in which the definition of housing has changed for consumers around the world.
