Romanian developer Redport Capital is planning a residential complex with more than 1,000 homes on the land plot of 44,000 sqm that was recently purchased in northern Bucharest alongside local furniture market Mobexpert.

The development of the residential complex Infinity Nord is set to begin this fall and will be carried out in several stages until the complete delivery, estimated for 2030.

Cosmin Savu-Cristescu, Managing Director and Shareholder of Redport group, pointed out that the residential investment will also serve as an urban reconversion project of the entire Străulești area.

Andrei Sârbu, CEO of SVN Romania, which provided consultancy to both buyers of the land, added that the Străulești – Petrom City can become a new residential hub as it can accommodate more than 5,000 apartments.

The masterplan for the Infinity Nord will be created by Design International. The company was selected based on a project competition.
