Agustin Garcia del Castillo is Sustainability Officer for Siemens Smart Infrastructure. He is also part of the Siemens Business Development team, focused on real estate customers. Before joining Siemens, Agustin had different positions in acquisitions and project development in private equity real estate firms and real estate funds, with projects and portfolio in Europe, South America and Africa. Agustin also had experience in real estate consulting as a Project Manager at CBRE. More »

Dr Paul Toyne leads the global architecture and design practice Grimshaw on sustainability, overseeing their goals of net-zero carbon ready designs by 2025 and truly sustainable and regenerative designs by 2030. Paul has a diverse background having worked all over the world as an environmental campaigner, conservationist - with WWF - and sustainable built environment specialist. Within property and construction, he has held Group Sustainability and Environment Director roles at WSP and Balfour Beatty, and Group Head of Environment and Sustainability at Bovis Lendlease. Paul’s project experience covers all elements of the built environment, from flagship buildings/developments to infrastructure. He is a London Sustainable Development Commissioner appointed by Mayor Boris Johnson in 2010. Paul has helped shape London’s route map for a circular economy. He is chair of the Commission’s working group on reporting for the capital on the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. He has a PhD from Imperial College, is a Fellow of IEMA, and has a butterfly he discovered in Ecuador named after him. More »

Will Robson is Executive Director and Global Head of Real Estate Solutions Research at MSCI.  He is responsible for the direction and delivery of MSCI’s applied real estate research agenda which seeks to help clients understand their real estate portfolios and the markets in which they compete.  The research leverages the unparalleled breadth and depth of MSCI’s private real estate data by combining it with the firm’s powerful analytical tools helping clients tackle their everyday investment problems. Prior to MSCI, Will spent close to five years at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority as a senior, founding member of the real estate research team, helping to build that function by building tools and analytical frameworks to aid and enhance the real estate investment process.  Will also worked as a research analyst at M&G Real Estate during which time he became responsible for the firm’s property derivatives activities and also become heavily involved in developing an approach to cash flow simulation risk modelling. Will began his career as an Economist with the Royal Mail and holds both an MSc and BA in Economics from the University of York and the University of Newcastle upon Tyne respectively. More »

Before joining EBRD, Vlaho worked as Development Director with the TriGranit Development Corporation, the biggest real estate developer in Central and Eastern Europe. He started his career in investment banking with BNP Paribas in London. Vlaho ‎holds an MBA from Imperial College, University of London, and executive education from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Adam Targowski holds the position of Environmental Director in the office development part of Skanska operating in Central and Eastern Europe. Adam team is responsible for setting up project ambition and KPIs in the field of sustainability as well as certification processes. Recently, the team is focused on ESG and achieving climate neutrality of Skanska by 2045. Adam Targowski joined Skanska as Project Leader. His experience is related to cooperation with Go4Energy providing consulting and training in the field of sustainable development, energy efficiency, responsible use of resources and multicriteria certification. In January 2016 Adam took over the role of Sustainable Development Manager and in 2021 Environmental Director in Skanska Commercial Development Europe. Adam is involved in many organizations promoting sustainable development in the CEE region: RICS, Urban Land Institute and Polish Green Building Council where he serves as Advisory Board Member. More »

New leases

  • XXS GYM has signed a lease for over 850 sqm of space in the modern O3 Business Campus office complex, located on Opolska Street in the northern part of Cracow.
  • Alior Bank has extended its lease at Ocean Office Park B in Kraków to accommodate its Private Banking Department. The deal, supported by brokerage firm CBRE, marks the final stage of a two-year consolidation of the bank's Kraków operations. Following the expansion, the bank occupies approximately 7,000 sqm within the Cavatina Group-owned complex.
  • TriGranit has finalized a lease extension with Mondelez Europe Services to remain in the Signum Work Station building through 2032. Facilitated by broker CBRE, the agreement secures nearly 4,000 sqm of office surface for the global snacks group member within Warsaw’s Mokotów district.

New appointments

  • Katarzyna Myjak has joined Axi Immo as Senior Business Advisory Manager, tasked with strengthening the company’s Industrial & Logistics business line.
  • Czech investment group SCF has expanded its team by appointing Jan Simandl as Senior Leasing Team Leader. In this role, Simandl will oversee leasing activities across the company’s commercial property portfolio. He previously worked for CPI Property Group and CBRE.
  • Michał Kochanowski-Laren has joined Avison Young Poland’s Technical Advisory and Project Management team as Project Manager. In his new role, he is responsible for delivering a variety of consultancy projects across all segments of the commercial real estate market in Poland. Kochanowski-Laren is an electrical engineer and a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology.

The quarter saw 307,000 sqm of new warehousing space delivered across 9 industrial parks, representing a 34% increase compared to the previous quarter and a 44% increase year-on-year.
