Opus Land Development has launched Cosmopolis Evolia, a residential project spanning 270,000 sqm adjacent to Romania's largest private neighborhood, near Bucharest, with an estimated investment north of €200 million.
The development begins with 250 villas and 200 apartments, offering housing from studios to penthouses and villas.
"Cosmopolis Evolia is the project through which we show that modern urbanism in Romania can be competitive at the European level," said Ahmet Emre Buyukhanli, President of Opus Land Development. The masterplan, created by British architecture firm Studio Wild 15, covers the next 10 years with annual delivery of approximately 350 units.
The project includes infrastructure of roads, green areas, commercial spaces, medical centers, educational facilities, and recreational areas. Evolia preserves features from the parent Cosmopolis project, including outdoor pools for social interaction and community bonding.
Education remains a key pillar, with Cosmopolis hosting the Mark Twain International School campus. The area provides access to international schools including Cambridge School, Olga Gudynn and the American International School within 10-15 minutes by car.
Cosmopolis currently houses more than 17,000 residents across investments exceeding €455 million. By 2035, the developer estimates over 12,000 housing units and a community of over 35,000 people. The neighborhood features over 60 outdoor pools, parks, a medical center, and Cosmopolis Plaza retail park with more than 70 brands.
