Optim Project Management has completed its work on the new 6,715 sqm ibis Timișoara City Center for Hotel Development SA, a company owned by brothers Emil and Marius Cristescu.

The investment in the newest hotel in Timișoara is €10 million and was built near the city center, on a plot of land with an area of about 5 hectares.

Optim PM experts were brought in to oversee the construction of the hotel as project managers in the summer of 2019, which is now open to the public. As the Project Manager, the company provided construction management, design management, cost & commercial management, procurement, and health & safety coordination services. Additionally, Optim PM was also responsible for the FF&E procurement and installation as required by the brand standards and design.

The new 3-star hotel is home to 200 rooms and suites, a restaurant, a bar and lounge, conference rooms, and own car parking. With a special design, being the first ibis Square concept open in Europe, guests will experience here a vibrant atmosphere in the social hub where they can eat, work or relax.

“As 1st March 2021, ibis Timișoara City Center hotel has officially opened its doors to guests. Optim PM has played a key role in bringing this project to reality. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and made this a successful project, we are really proud of what we have achieved” said David Evans, Founder, and Owner of Optim Project Management.

Hotel Development SA is a company owned by brothers Emil and Marius Cristescu, who have businesses in several fields.
